The person behind the studio.

Ilse Tanis designs the complete guest experience for eco resorts. She is drawn to small places that want to do right by both people and nature.

The difference between a nice stay and an unforgettable one lives in the details most places overlook. The studio exists to design those details, and to make them visible.

From the first idea to the interior, the images and the website, she keeps the whole stay coherent, and builds it together with the people who live there.

Guided by freedom, creativity and discovery.
