Local give-back: how &locals works.

Every Concept & Launch Pack website includes a section called &locals: a simple, visible part of the site where a fixed amount from every night booked directly goes to one named local project in the stay's own town. Not a vague "we support the community" line, a specific project, named on the page.

It sits next to the direct-booking page, deliberately. A guest who chooses to book direct instead of through an OTA is already doing the stay a favour by skipping the commission. &locals gives that choice a second, visible reason: the money that would otherwise have gone to a platform now does something concrete nearby.

Who handles what

Ilse designs the page and the mechanics of how it's presented. The booking and the payment themselves run through the stay's own owner or local host, never through Ilse. That's intentional: &locals is a feature of the stay's own website, not a service Ilse operates on top of it, and the give-back stays exactly where the stay owner and the local project can see and verify it.

Why one project, not a menu

A give-back scheme with five possible causes to choose from reads as marketing. One named project, consistently supported, reads as a relationship. It also mirrors how the rest of a concept works: one real local anchor, not a list of options a guest has to sort through. The project is chosen with the stay, grounded in what already exists nearby rather than picked for the website copy.

&locals isn't a certification or a badge Ilse issues. It's a page, built once, that keeps doing its work on every booking after launch, without anyone having to think about it again.
