What does an Experience Check involve?

An Experience Check starts the same way a real guest's stay starts: with a normal booking, in a normal room, usually without the team knowing who's coming or when. That's deliberate. The point isn't to review a stay on its best behaviour, it's to see what a guest actually gets on an ordinary Tuesday.

The stay runs two nights, long enough to move through arrival, a first evening, a full day, and a departure, the moments that matter most and the ones most often overlooked. The owner covers the cost of the stay itself; the €950 fee covers the check, the report and the conversation that follows.

What gets measured

Everything is checked moment by moment, from the booking experience before arrival to the message a guest would expect two weeks after leaving. Each moment is scored, with photos and notes as evidence rather than opinion: a mark on a mirror, a confirmation email, the thirty seconds after walking through the door. Anything that would seriously bother a guest caps the score for that moment, however good the rest of it is. That's how a real guest experiences it, and it keeps the report honest.

The report and the conversation

What comes back is a written report: an overall score, a moment-by-moment breakdown, a short list of quick fixes that cost little and work within a week, and a few larger directions that point toward what a fuller concept could become. It's followed by a conversation, not a summary read aloud, where the findings are walked through properly and questions get answered on the spot.

The Check isn't the end point. If a concept follows within 60 days, the €950 is credited against it in full, which is why most owners treat it as the first step rather than a one-off audit.
